Captain's Log

    Stardate: 1.1.2026
            It's 2026! Yippee! I went to a New years party last night and me 
    and my friends were talking about our predictions for this year so here 
    are three that I feel are most likly to be true:
        1. A greater cultural trend of supporting artists, owning one of a
    kind handmade items, and interest in traditional art, as a reaction to the 
    rise of ai. Even though there are plenty of people that are in support of 
    ai, I think it's really beginning to lose its luster, frankly because ai 
    will always feel cheap, and the people who support it are seen as having
    cheap taste, or no taste at all. Really ai is the ultimate form of kitsch, 
    and for rich people who think they are cool, kitsch is their worst 
    nightmare. So I think we will see a swing in the opposite direction.
        2. Edward Snowden the sequel, massive leak of U.S. classified documents. 
    Possibly related to the Epstein files? IDK I think with everything that has 
    gone down with that whole mess something is bound to happen. 
        3. The location, or pieces of, the original Amber Room will be found. This
    is my long shot hail mary prediction. There are a couple other big discoveries 
    I really want, like the location of the tomb of Cleopatra, or Alexander the 
    Great, but I think this one is the most likely. 
    And the secret fourth prediction, one of my friends said that I will get a 
    really cool, niche job that no one has ever heard of this year, and that really
     would be awesome so I'm manifesting that one ;) 

    Stardate: 12.28.25
            Yesterday was a bad day. I had to call 911 for the secound time in 
    my life due to my father having a medical episode. Very scary! I thought he 
    was having a stroke, the paramedics thought he was having a stroke, doctors
    thought he was having a stroke, then they do all the scans and shit and, 
    drum roll please, no stroke! Yipee! But also oh no, cus wtf is wrong with 
    him? On top of that I found out he hasn't been taking his medications, and
    had been lying to me about it for months :) Suffice to say, I am stressed. 
            P.S. After rereading my last entry, I am happy to inform you that
    my application to be in the artits ally was accepted! So there is a little
    rainbow after the storm for you!

    Stardate: 11.15.25
            I applied to have a booth in an artists ally today! Even if I don't
    get in I'm proud of myself for trying! 

    Stardate: 11.10.25
            This is my last year of collage and today I have been thinking about 
    how, after this semester ends, I'll never have another class with my 
    favorite proffesor again. I really idolize her, shes done so much, and been 
    so many places in her life. Shes given me new things to dream of. She's the 
    one person in my life who I genuinely want to be like.
            I'm going to miss her so much. 

    Stardate: 11.9.25
            I watched Night on the Galactic Railroad last night and I can't get 
    it out of my head. I went in knowing nothing about it, thinking it would just
    be a cute little anime with cat people, and boy oh boy was I wrong. I have 
    some anime backstory level lore which I won't go into depth on here, but I
    have never related to a character as hard as I have to Giovanni. It's the 
    perfect blend of fantasy and reality for me, it hits so close to home, like 
    an arrow to my heart.
